You can talk about the Armstrong And the Mighty "Coan" too But here's a tale about a band I`m going to tell to you
Big John he led the middle row With Melissa and young Mark A Bass and two wee Tenors The finest in the park
They come from up the country A place known far and wide They call it Cullybackey The band's their joy and pride
The back row they then settled in An` things was soundin` good The doubts were fallin` by the way Perhaps they maybe could
This year they came to Glasgow To face a mighty test There was Bleary and Ravara Polkemmet and the rest
Jonathons by the double Wee Jasons in a pair Steven, Ian and Gregory And William he was there
The day it started off not good We thought their lucks gone west When news got out and round about Your womans wonky chest
That brings me to the man himself As if you didn't know Adrian in the middle The King of Champions row
But the boys stuck in And hands just seemed to fly If they didn't win an` lift the cup There`d be no reason why
So time moved on just as it does 11.40 on the dot The rolls were crisp, the rolls were clean Oul "Kit" heard what they`d got
Some players come and players go Some winners fade away But the boys from Cullybackey Are "Champions" all the way
